Cheap Replica Rolex Air-King Watches Buying Guide

One of the oldest series is Rolex Air-King Replica in the brand’s history, created during World War II, and has been in production almost continuously since then. This is a great watch with complex backstories than most watches. Before the start of the war, Rolex had an enviable reputation for making capable pilot’s watch models. In 1933, Rolex provided the Houston Expedition with clocks and achieved an initial victory. This was the first time the aircraft successfully flew over Mount Everest. Six years later, at the outbreak of World War II, the RAF distributed the company’s 30mm speed aircraft to the crew, but the pilots replaced them with the recently launched much larger Bubbleback model and paid for it.

Swiss Rolex Air-King Replica WatchWhen the story reached Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex replica, he commissioned a series of “Air” Watches to commemorate those pilots and to commemorate the Royal Air Force’s fight against Leftwoff in the British Battle of 1940 Impossible victory. Large, luxurious but simple, the range is made up of the Air-Lion, Air-Tiger, Air-Giant, and Air-King. By the end of the hostilities, only Air-King was still being manufactured, a 34 mm timepiece with the ref. 4925. From that time, the model has gone through many different iterations, although none of the watches you think have its eighth decade.

Although it is now definitely part of the professional collection of Fake Rolex Tool Watches, Air-King has always stayed on the edge, is one of the mainstream watches. However, at its time, it gave us some classics, including some really great examples, humble elegance, and stylish complexity. Let’s take a closer look at the four most famous references from the Rolex Air-King series.

High-end Rolex Air-King Reference 5500

The ref. 5500 released in 1957 was the fourth generation of the Rolex Air-King, for reasons not as many different versions of replica watches as expected. It was not replaced until the late 1980s, and the Rolex Reference 5500 has maintained an incredible 37 years in production. Due to its extremely long life, the Ref. 5500 is a model most people associate with the appearance of the prototype Air-King; 34mm, with a distinctive and simple dial design, an ordinary stick hand instead of a date display to distract attention.

During its operation, the new Rolex Air-King 5500 was released with two different movements – Caliber 1520 and Caliber 1530 – neither one of them was chronometer-rated. In many examples, you can easily determine which caliber the model has through a script on the dial. Many Cal. 1520 pieces have “Precision” above the six o’clock index, or are not specified at all, while examples of Cal. 1530 motion often achieve “Super Precision” at the same position. Interestingly, Cal. 1530 was used first, and Cal. 1520 did not appear until about 1963 and was not used until the retirement of the ref. 5500.

The Differences between Cal.1520 and Cal.1530

Luxury Copy Rolex Air-King WatchAlthough both the Cal.1520 and Cal.1530 are different in design from many other Rolex Movements because they have rod regulators and flat hairsprings, instead of overshooting with the Breguet of the Microstella System, the differences between the Caliber 1520 and Cal.1530 are relatively small. Both movements promised the same timekeeping specifications. The main difference is the amount of jewelry used in each movement. This is mainly to reduce import and export duties charged on watches. The model going to the US market has only 17 gems, while the rest of the world has 25 and 26 gem varieties.

The confusing part starts with the Rolex Air-King Reference 5500 overlapping with the Oyster Perpetual and the Explorer. All three copy watches share a case and Swiss ETA Movement for a period of time (although the 1530 movement for Oyster Perpetual version is a chronograph). Therefore, the search for the reference 5500 Rolex will give examples of these three names on the dial. To further complicate matters, the ref. 550X series appeared at about the same time – the Rolex ref. 5504 (the 36mm steel model), a ref. 5501 (two-tone), and the best ref. 5502 (gold-capped). The good news is that the ref. 5500 is not only the cheapest Rolex Air-King reference, but it is also one of the inexpensive vintage Rolex models of all time, which makes it an ideal gateway to brand ownership. That is why almost women and men like it very much.

Luxury Rolex Air-King Ref. 14000

When the replacement for the reference 5500 came in the form of the reference 14000, the various Replica Rolex Collections became more consistent and standardized. Launched in 1989, following many design cues from its predecessor, its stainless steel case remains at 34mm and maintains the same overall modestly simple styling which is popular with young people.

Vintage Rolex Air-King Watch UKThe changes are biggest that accompany this generation of the imitation Rolex Air-King watches are the use of sapphire crystals instead of acrylic and the introduction of the new caliber 3000. This is the first movement to give the Rolex Air-King the modern 28,800vph balance frequency, making the watch more in-line with other Rolex products.

There are also a few options to choose from, with different dial colors issued, including black, white, blue and salmon pink. A choice of bezels is also available, either a traditional smooth-polished type or an engine-steering version, as found in the Rolex Reference 14010. However, even Caliber 3000 does not have a COSC rating, which means that the watch still wears the dial of the “Precision” label, rather than the “Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified” tag, which we are more used to seeing.

In 2000, the reference was further updated with the release of the Rolex ref. 14000M, where “M” indicates a modification. This version is equipped with Caliber 3130, which ticks at the same rate, but benefits from Breguet overcoil and fully balanced bridge. Even so, these examples have not passed the chronometer certification and are labeled “Super Precision” on the previous representative plate, just like the previous generation. Due to its upgraded movements and sapphire crystals, which are more expensive than the reference 5500, both the ref. 14000 and the reference 14000M represent the true bargains of Second-hand Rolex Watches.

Swiss Rolex Air-King Ref. 114200 Watch

In 2007, the Cheap Rolex Air-King Replica finally entered a more modern era. Although the dimensions remained at 34mm, the watch received a significant makeover, the case thickened, and the lugs enlarged, giving the watch a significantly larger overall look on the wrist.

The new solid-connected Oyster bracelet and redesigned buckle replaced the first 78350, and the steel used throughout the watch has also been raised to an extremely powerful and corrosion-resistant 904L. In addition, a larger dial color’s range has been added, and the 18k white gold flute bezel became the first choice.

Most importantly, although it maintains the same Caliber 3130 as its predecessor, it is now an official chronograph-certified movement. The reference 114200’s relatively short production run and its chronograph rated movement make it an interesting choice for watch collectors. In the secondary market, easily available at significantly lower prices than most other counterfeit Rolex models. It is not surprising that the value of Rolex Air-King ref. 114200 will increase significantly in the future.

However, just as this generation has changed, the days of the fake Rolex Air-King are running out. In 2014, it quietly withdrew completely from the catalog, and many expecting that after more than 70 years of continuous production, this will be the last time we see it.

Best Replica Rolex Air-King Ref. 116900

Cheap Counterfeit Rolex Air-King 14000To everyone’s surprise, just two years later, Warrior’s Watch appeared in a completely different lens in the form of reference 116900. Sharing a 904L steel case with the new Milgauss ref. 116400, this current version of the Rolex Air-King replica is 40mm in size and has the same antimagnetic properties as a Rolex’s renowned scientist watch.

Just like how the Rolex Air-King Ref. 116900 shares a case with Milgauss, it also shares the same Caliber 3131 movement with blue Parachrom hairsprings and paramagnetic elements. However, while the interior is as modern as possible, the exterior keeps one eye to watch the historical role of this watch.

Released in only one version, the dial has received Explorer’s 3/6/9 hour indexes, but added prominent minute markers (printed in white), making it one of the most legible dials in Rolex’s portfolio and perfectly as a pilot’s watch model. The black dial draws inspiration from vintage cockpit instruments, the Air-King ref. 116900 also has the brand’s first and only crown logo and “Rolex” title set in two different colors.

The Price of Rolex Air-King Ref. 116900

The Rolex Air-King has a huge history, a history that is still very strong. In fact, it may be more popular today than ever before. Whether you decide to go for one of the contemporary models or vintage classics, it offers almost unbeatable collection value.
